Version 3.5 will be enhanced to include the following (in order of priority):

  • I forgot that when viewing spell details, the EIA still uses that ugly, pinkish stats
screen.  I'll port that over to a new screen next.  That should be relatively easy, so it
    will be quick.
  • Having custom characters saved as separate text files rather than as database
entries.  Obviously, there will be backward compatibility so that you don't lose your
existing characters.  I plan to allow you to load in your database character, but to
resave it, you'll have to make it a separate character file.
  • I was finally able to duplicate an error reported to me.  When opening the treasure
generator screen, an error came up.  I'll look into it.
  • Ability to print stat blocks.
  • Ability to print a "sign in" sheet that requests the information you'll need from players
for their PCs.  Not a big deal, but why not?
  • A reference guide for all d20 rules.  Some of these rules will be available as part of the
other enhancements (e.g., when  performing an intimidate check, the EIA explains
what it's doing), but this refers to a comprehensive guide on all of the rules.  Because
rules are not copyrightable, this won't be limited to what's in the SRD.
  • Update the tutorial with new screen shots and additional features.
  • Ability to save a snapshot of your current initiative so that you can quit the program
in the middle of combat at come back later.
  • A treasure generator based on Table 3-5 et seq. of the DMG.  To be added to the
Treasure and XP Generator accessed via the Options menu.
  • Displaying arcane spell failure chance for custom characters.  (This will entail a
database rewrite, albeit minor, so the utility will come first.)
  • An option to track combat history.
  • A skill check utility that allows you to roll any skill check and includes the mechanisms
for matters such as Intimidate checks, caster level checks, etc.  (This will entail a
database rewrite as far as custom characters are concerned, so the utility will come
    first.)
  • Recording non-lethal damage.
  • Providing a trial period during which unregistered copies have full use of all features.
This isn't a priority because the restricted features aren't particularly complex, so
there isn't much of a concern on the ability to "deliver the goods."  This could change,
though, as I add complex features that are restricted.
  • Creating a combat log that records all activity for combat so you can later relay what
    happened.
